A selvyt cloth is a lint-free pure cotton cloth with a brushed surface to lift particles from a polished shoe. The primary use of a selvyt cloth is to smoothen the polished surface of the shoe to remove traces of the brush during buffing. It also can be used to cream or wax shoes . It is a good idea to keep two in your care arsenal. One for pre-conditioning, conditioning and waxing, and the other for a post-buffing regime.
